iPhones are finally available in Israel!

After more than 3 months of delays Cellcom, Orange and Pelephone start iPhone
distribution in Israel.

Late last night Celcom setup a special iStore for selling iPhones in dizengoff
center, Tel-Aviv, and started its sales at midnight, While Pelephone decided
to open its doors across town at the Ayalon Shopping mall.
Orange on the other hand decided to wait with the iPhone sales for today morning.

Despite Cellcom and Pelephones attempt to bring in the crouds last night
no crouds where to be seen.

At 17:30 today a group of developers entered the John Bryce
training center in Tel-Aviv to take part in the first professional
iPhone Development course offered in Israel.

The iPhone Development Course offered by Kimambili in association with
John Bryce covers all the subjects needed by both beginner and experienced
developers in order to become professional iPhone developers.
The course covers: Objective-C programming, the XCode development environment
and all the essential Frameworks found in the iPhone SDK.

Today, Gur Zeevi, Founder and CTO of Kimambili mobile solutions, gave a
guest lecture at the iDigital store in Ramat Aviv shopping center about the
new iPhone development course that Kimambili in assosiation with iDigital
and John Bryce are opening this September. The lecture was divided into two
parts, The first part was a summery of the international iPhone and iPhone
application market. The second part was a quick look at the iPhone SDK and a
live example of how to write a simple iPhone application.
